State Road 9B is opening Today. The northbound lanes will open at 10 a.m. and the southbound lanes will open after the evening rush hour, at about 6 p.m.

I drove south on 9B today about 4:30 PM. Quite the backup trying to go south on Phillips.

Indeed it sucked. Ending a highway at a light that only lets 4 cars through at a time doesn't work very well. I'll let everyone else go the "new" way while I go the "old" way with less cars to worry about I guess.

That's too bad. I was off Friday, so my virgin trip will be tomorrow. With the exact times I'm driving, I seem to get way more stuck going into Jax on Phillips in the morning than home to Nocatee in the evening. I'm hopeful that maybe 9B in the AM and the "old" way in the PM will help.

How long was the commute from Nocatee today? 90 minutes? 2 hours?

Multiple accidents and a steady downpour would snarl any city's traffic.

I've read new and old posts that say everything from 25 to 60min.

What are your honest morning and evening commute times?
I know about the 210 overpass and the extension going into 295. I'm sure that'll help but where are we at today?

Thank you all!
As you can see there will never be a consensus and you can never really plan because of all the occurrences of "incidents". Traffic deniers abound here. 25 min? LOL Once I sat in traffic at the 295 exit onto San Jose or somewhere down there at 7:30 AM for 15 minutes. Nothing was broken down and no living or dead species were laying in the road.

If you care, move close to work.

25 is certainly too low, 35 is probably your minimum

At rush hour you're probably looking at between 45 and 90 minutes, depending on all the variables.

I wonder how long it took everybody to get downtown today with all the traffic that couldn't use the Matthews bridge taking their alternate routes to work?
