Is this still being built? If so where is it and how far along is it? I can't find much on the internet about it accept that it was approved at some point. Is it across from the school? Thanks for any inside info.

Not sure what this is referring to.....can you expand some more? There is some retail space across the street from the school that, to my knowledge, still hasn't been purchased. I am not aware of anything being built other than more housing.

Hi again. We did finally square away the paperwork and will be there the first week of October Right on the Durbin Crossing website under "Durbin Crossing Comunity Development District" they mention the planned addition of

"The Village Center, a centrally located shopping and dining
area for retail shops, restaurants and service oriented businesses. Within the parameters
of Durbin Crossing, The Village Center will provide convenience for homeowners,
plus additional shopping fun within walking or biking distance of home".

Sounds awesome but it appears it hasn't even been started huh?

Not to my knowledge - but they are currently clearing away several new areas of the preserve so any one of those could be the Village Center this refers to. It would surely be at least a full year away from being built and viable businesses.

WHAT! I'm moving to Durbin. All I get over here at Nocatee is some Daily's coffee.

I got a reply back on Facebook that said:

Durbin Crossing There are no immediate plans to start the Village Center.

Well that sucks but a Starbucks would be a nice start I guess...although I don't even like their coffee...

It would do very well there, a couple nice little restaurants and shops would clean up. I go to Starbucks every single day, and that one on 210 is so hard to get in and out of, something right there would be very nice.

I can think of several things that would do well around here. The only thing we have plenty of is grocery shopping and Walgreens/CVS. Beyond that anything goes right now. Even a simple do-it-yourself spray car wash I think would clean up (pun intended). The only car washes here are all through Daily's where you have to drive through.

you have to have the population to support those things before they get built.
