I would just like to know..which of these 2 cities has the best weather. I have heard that both can be quite cold in the mornings and at night. But cold to me is in the 50's or less. Does it get that cold?

And the nightlife in both places, is it pretty similar?

I prefer the grown and sexy crowd and perhaps soulful music.

Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.
grown n sexy huh....id say go with Orlando.

Tampa has no beaches but St. Pete does except you are young and most of the people there are elderly. If you want to have a good time spend a little more money & drive 6+ more hours down to the Miami area.
OMG.. u just scared me..I have finally narrowed it down to Tampa or St Pete., and now you are telling me its full of elderly people?? What about YBOR that everyone talks about all the time?? What about St Pete? I honestly just dont know if we will have the strength to drive down to Miami..like its just too far..Please which one do you think is better between St.Pete or Tampa?.. Honestly

Honestly, you are good. Don't waver anymore. Go to trip advisor, wikitravel, and whatever other travel resources you like to use and read about all the positives. Someone will always have negative things to say about a place...just do St. Pete and Tampa. Between the two you will have a good time.
