Hello, are there any Saint Johns residents here? We love Cimarrone, St Johns Forest, still searching the area overall. Trying to get familiar with CDD and property tax rates, nearby shopping. Trying to keep at 400k but willing to do more if we find the right place, preferably with a nice view.

Looks like development is still underway for some time to come, does anyone have a view on communities that are more established with some small amenties, such as a pool?

I appreciate any information or view of this area, where you enjoy eating, shopping and living. We do not have children, and work from home so no need to worry about a daily commute. My husband is an avid golfer and we have seen some nice golf areas, too.

Have a great day.

Cimmarone is very nice gated community, many older residents though. There are many great communities along County Rd 220: Shearwater, South Hampton, St. John’s Golf Club. Saint Johns is a great place to live and raise children. Other great communities in area are Durbin Crossing and Aberdeen, and the new Silverleaf, all in your price range. Lots of great shopping. We have the newly built and still expanding Durbin Park Town Center within 10 min drive. Beachwalk will open with shops and restaurants soon and there are tons of other little shopping center popping up all over. Most are very convenient. Come take a visit to check the area out. That’s what we did and we fell in love with the area.

I lived in St. Johns Golf and Country Club for several years and loved it. Great neighbors, amenities, renovated clubhouse and golf. It is an established neighborhood with a diverse age population.
Have you considered Palencia? 15/20 minutes southeast from the area you mentioned, but worth a look if golf is important.
Good luck!

You’re welcome. Let me know if you have any other questions. Sorry my post should have read many great communities along County Rd 210 not 220.
