We are a 60 year old couple that are going to ST Augestine for a couple of days. What should we see and do. We like seafood places to dine. Also, where to stay? We are walkers, so we would like to stay where we could spend the day walking around.

Stay at Casa Monica or Renaissance in downtown. Walk and dine to your feet and stomachs can't take it anymore. Harry's seafood is good. expect an hour wait or more. There are plenty of good seafood places. If you want to drive a few minutes it will open up a lot more possibilities but not necessary. Take a river boat cruise, walk downtown, see the fort, drive south to Washington Oaks to see the gardens and the beach. Alligator farm is cool. go to the top of the lighthouse. maybe catch a concert at the St Aug amphitheater. Check their website for concerts.

If the weather is warm enough, I highly recommend dinner at Cap's on the Water. It's a few minutes north of downtown St. Augustine off A1A, and it's right on the Intracoastal waterway. Be there for sunset if possible. The view and the food is simply outstanding.

For walking around downtown St. Augustine, I would recommend the Hilton Hotel downtown. You are literally right in the middle of everything. Just pick a direction and start walking.
