I would love to get your thoughts on retiring in say Palm Coast versus retiring in say in a nice

Atlanta suburb

Florida is the place people think of when you say retirement but I know many things are changing.

Now assuming the person has a pulse and enjoys fine dining, museums, shows, travel, along with

the two Florida staples (i.e. Golf and Tennis)

Which would prefer and why?

It is really hard to say, as far as cultural diversity Jacksonville is such a far cry from what you would find in say Boston, Chicago, NYC or other cities. Jacksonville is trying to rebrand itself but it is going to take a while.

Palm Coast is great for retirement if you are looking for a laid back lifestyle but you are going to have to travel a bit for any cultural events, sports or major airport. You do have Saint Augustine and the beaches close by.

I have not spent enough time in Atlanta to comment on that.

Everywhere in the US is so culturally, and geographically different that I always recommend to rent, rent, rent.

Welcome
