I've heard there will soon be a new artist market to be held under the Fuller Warren Bridge off of Riverside. Anyone have any details when it will start up?

The tentative plan is to kick it off on April 4th. That's awhile away, but I think they're pretty confident about that date barring any major issues.

I'm pretty excited about seeing this next time I'm in town. Hopefully it will be thriving by the time I return!

Yeah, the Arts Market looks great. It's been a long time in the making, and it shows the power of a tiny bit of planning (i.e. not having the traffic engineers put in retention ponds)

Hopefully it will be a popular destination - and spur support for an extension of the Riverwalk down to Memorial Park.

I saw pictures of it, It looks like an extension of the North Bank Riverwalk, I think it is already built though. I do not know if they have actually used it for anything.

Just kidding, Riv. I know how easy it is to miss one post...I do it often when quickly reading through threads. Yes, it will be every Saturday, and if successful, the hours can be extended and Sundays could be added as well. I don't want to jinx it though...let's just take it one step at a time and hope the grand opening goes well!
