Take the theme parks out of the picture, then it really isn't that much way better.

I can't stand Orlando...stupid traffic, toll roads everywhere, relatively dirty outside of the tourist trap areas...I go there as little as is humanly possible.

It doesn't make sense to say one city is better than another city without stating "in what respect". There are some things that favor Orlando like theme parks, entertainment in general, ethnic shopping, maybe jobs. And some things that favor Jacksonville like proximity to beaches, waterways, weather, friendlier people, better family environment. And when you are done comparing you then have to ask "who in particular is Orlando or Jacksonville better for?"

(or for the grammarian, "for whom is it better?"

I've never come across more arrogant, rude, and nasty people (other than in some parts of South FL) than in Orlando.

I'm talking like... you're driving down the road, you come to a red light. You have to go AS SOON AS the light turns green, or people will honk at you, and even curse at you if you have your window down, no kidding. If it only saves them 3 seconds or so, it's worth it to many people their to act like an idiot. It's really bad.
