Our apartment complex in North Carolina was so new that the streets of the complex weren't available in a GPS yet. Even cab drivers had a little bit of a hard time finding our street. One driver even asked a PD Officer where our street was. He knew because he patroled the area. A couple of other times, I had to stand outside and look for the cab.

It was SO nice to meet you and your family last night! Oh I so hope it's not two years before you can make it back to Jax!!

I hope you had a nice birthday, Karla.

I enjoyed the company and enjoyed the pizza. It was great as left-overs the next day at lunch!

Dang, I missed another Pizza Party again!

Hi Karla - A Very Happy Birthday to you!

I've been a lurker on this forum since I left Jax last year. Hope everyone is doing great and in good health.

Now that it's starting to get cold here in the Northeast, I'm starting to miss Jacksonville again. Man, I loved living the laid back, stress-free life there. And the friendly, down to earth people of Jax.

I see that this Jax forum has grown quite a lot. Warmest regards to the Karla (& hubby), Riveree, HIF, LawStudent, APVBguy, mawipafl, videcapio, pinoydoc, ... among the ones I remember from last year. You're a great bunch of folks.

I'm back home in NJ. I was in Jacksonville with my company for a year to try it out. Flying back to NJ once or twice a month. In the end, my wife and son weren't ready to move from NJ to Jacksonville.
