Getting offers for clerical positions (cover letters, job, company, resumes)

I was a VP who resigned from my position. I want to relocate and have sent resumes with cover letters to the same type of company in that part of the state. One keeps sending me info on open positions that are non-exempt, clerical type jobs. They can see on my resume that I have years of management experience. My question is...if I were a man, would they be sending me these types of job descriptions?

It's likely an automated periodic email blast to all recent applicants. I doubt somebody is going through resumes and manually picking people to send the email out to.

No, these are emails I am getting from real people in various depts.
