I see there scenario all the time (on this board and other forums):
Someone is in a job where they're being overworked and/or abused in some way.
They want to find another job but they say they're too tired or don't have enough time to do that.
In that situation, you need another job more than anything else!
If you financially can't afford to be fired or laid off, I'd work on cutting your expenses first and save like a year of expenses (or more) in the bank.
Then cut back your hours to something more reasonable (say 8-9 hours) even if you don't get permission so you have time to look for another job or interview.
You may or may not get fired.. but if you do, hopefully you had money saved up.
Knowing what I know now about the terrible abusive people who become managers I would never tolerate what I tolerated in the past. Most recently I was being talked down to by a manager and I said "There is no need to talk to me that way" and she backed off immediately. NO excuse for hostile work environments. I would document, document, document and report. Screw those people. Screw em all!
...or if a manager is being a condescending or demeaning, or yelling just calmly say "hostile work environment" and watch their face drop like the useless soul-less incompetent buffoon they are.
