She should try to get whatever job she can. Perhaps she knows someone that owns a store or business?

She should try to get into somewhere that she has an "in" of some sort, as they will need some implication that she will be a decent worker and was not in prison or something for the last 20 years

I have a cousin that filled out a application and when she was leaving the store she saw the receptionist through out her application she just filled out in waste basket. She is 55 years old and have filling out hundreds applications in three years and have not had any luck.

There you go. A perfect example of CORRUPTION! And the people on this forum say it never happens.

Well I never said it could never happen. I said it didn't happen in YOUR case. You stated that they threw out your application but when pressed if you actually saw them do it with your own eyes, you said that you had an inkling or suspicion that they did. Don't get it twisted.

Well I haven't seen this. It must be every woman except for me. I'm the exception on everything. I'm still looking for work. I just applied to Target and Petco and I bet you neither one is going to bother contacting me especially since Target didn't even send me an email saying about how they received my application. I don't know why I bother with Petco. It would be the perfect opportunity because I can walk there and I love animals but they're just going to reject me like they did a few years ago.
I wish I had done Bed Bath & Beyond now. They actually had paper applications but I was iffy about asking for one because I couldn't walk there (but now I'm doing Target which is in the same shopping center ) Way to blow your few chances.
