Has anyone had one? What was it like? Do you think if I tell the recruiter that I do not have access to a Web Cam that it will disqualify me?. It is a one way interview.
I did a Skype interview once, but we could see each other. It was a panel of 4 people and I really thought it was much nicer than having to fly in. That said, there were some moments when we could not understand each other, other then that it was fine.
That's weird. So, they want to be able to see you, but you can't see them? I wonder if they're disabling their camera to put pressure on the interviewee.
I think it is weird too. I have to answer a series of questions and they record me. It is like auditioning. What do they mean by having a microphone? Is that built in to the computer? I have a Mac Book. Why do people have to make things so complicated?
Tell them you'll show them yours if they show you theirs.
