I am new to this forum, and glad to have found it. I am on my 5th month of UI, and have no real job prospects. I have interviewed several times for different companies, but have had no luck. So, now I am applying for retail jobs at the mall. It's something, and will at least keep me busy until I can find a more career oriented position (IT Field)
Not sure if anyone can answer this, but when an interviewer calls you and gives you multiple time slots that you chance choose from for an interview, is it better to pick an earlier time than a later one? Or, are you better off picking a latter one? I didn't know if there was a "better" time to interview if given the opportunity?
Also, if an interviewer calls you and has multiple time slots, is that a good indication that you're ranking hire than other candidates, and they're giving you more "options" because they really want to interview you?
It makes no difference. You are trying for an edge by trying to get the most advantageous slot, but it simply won't work.
Frequently one candidate will be so far above and beyond the rest that it is a clear decision. In that case, it doesn't matter when you interview,
Some interviewers make up their mind early, some are influenced by the last person they talked to. You don't know which kind of interviewer you will get, so you cannot game the system that way.
