Just another way to see if you can handle pressure, and that's a sign that you can work independently without someone having to hold your hand, and not fall apart when a tough deadline approaches. I would suggest having an answer ready for them but still pause a few seconds, as if thinking of an answer. Then keep it to something not related to work that makes no difference to how you would do the job, better yet make it humorous. Something like an unusual (but legal) hobby, unusual favorite food, or mention something very positive about your past that you didn't want them to know because it might come off as bragging.
Tell me one thing about yourself you wouldn't want me to know.
I am interviewing this week for a position. I was told that they sometimes ask this question. Any thoughts for good answers?
LOL, isn't that a personal question though? Like your privacy ???
Anywayz, tell them you're compulsive & obsessive when it comes to your home & that you check over & over & over - up to like 20 times - to make sure the doors are locked before you go to bed .....

I hope this is in jest because I'd think you were a bit off if you said that seriously.
tell them you run the mic at the weekend drag shows, so you would make a good team lead with the great personality
Good one!
