It's a union job working in the climits serring at a State Hospital. It will be $6 extra an hour and work 16 hour's more a week. However, there is no guarantee in 3 to 6 month's could be bumped to a lower paying position or let go due to budget issues. They are closing the adjacent hospital so most of those workers will be spread out, but majority will go to the facility applying for.

I work in a stable hospital that is growing and expanding. I only work 24 hour's average 32 hour's a week and I am paid $21.50. I been here a year I can still continue to hold put for a full time position in my same pay grade or higher.

Would you take the job?

Weighing the Pros:
I'll have the option of picking one out of 3 top health insurance companies in my state for coverage
Option of a 427 or 457 I think and a 403B
Higher pay
Area the work in rent is much much cheaper
Close to various colleges in the area and closer to the Capital of my state
College reimbursement is based off of percentage I can possibly receive $10,000 a year to pay for college
College loan repayment plan after 10 year's

Cons
Stability you can be placed on furlough, be let go, or bumped to a lower paying job
Already pay close to $1,000 a month in bills with rent. Getting married in the end of the year need stability
The State is laying off 2000 workers

No, stay where you are, no sense throwing away a good job which can be great for a "Possible" better job.

Well no job has any guarantees really. Well unless you have contracts in your line of work. Even then they have ways out.
