I currently work as a talent retail manager. The job worked in the interim as I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go in. I've consistently held a job since I was in college, received many promotions and raises. I have a lot experience in retail and property management. I have a bachelors in psychology as well as currently enrolled in a MBA program. My problem is I have applied to over 80 companies and have yet to hear back from a single one. I've revamped my cover letter and resume three times, tried to network on LinkedIn as well as reach out to friends for job assistance. Only feedback I recieved was that I needed to step down to an entry level admin job or try temping. Based on the cost of living in Denver coupled with bills, I really couldn't afford to take a cut. Any advice on how to land a decent corporate role? My goal is to get into consultantig or analyst role but willing to do something else just to get my foot in the door. I am hoping I am not stuck in retail. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Maybe not all the way to entry level...
but when you're starting over in something else you have to expect to start close the beginning.

My advice: you live in Denver. Take a hit of a big blunt, relax, then tackle the problem lol.
Keep at it. I'm of he mind that something should pay off for you.....eventually. Although I can certainly see why you may be discouraged. I DO NOT necessarily believe in that person has to start over at or near the bottom. I'm sure plenty of people do NOT have to do that. But....
What have you applied for? Can you give a few examples of the job titles and in which fields exactly (no company names).
Can you say more about this "consultant or analyst role" you envision?
"talent retail manager" is that HR -- hiring in HR?? A lot of companies are calling their workforce "talent" these days. (Talent manager/talent acquisition....ARRGGH) And exactly what did you do in "retail and property management." Property management could mean you managed the corporate office for a major residential or commercial player -- or answered phones and called a contractor when the toilet broke.
Once you actually have your MBA things might improve. I'm not in business, but I've read that an MBA can be a generic biz degree....and a LOT of people have one. I don't want to say that it's useless unless it's from an Ivy League school it's nothing not special anymore, but you'll need more than that to stand out.
Can anyone in your personal circle help?? Use any "IN" you have: nepotism, family/friend connections, scandalous photos (just kidding)
You don't mention your age...how old are you? I ask because sometimes advice to a person who's NOT a youngster might be different from what someone in their 20's might be advised.
Someone else might be able to comment on the issue of not hearing from ANY company out of 80 submissions.
