If I remember correctly the job application didn't have a section where you disclose criminal history. I'll have to go back and double check though. The paperwork for the live scan didn't didn't include disclosing criminal history.

^ This.

The issue is likely not with the actual check. But the adjudication process. Maybe I missed it, but you didn't say if this was for a government position, etc.

It could be that they are looking into things. Or, your file has been sitting there below a bunch of others and the person that is going to be looking at it was in Disney World for 3 weeks. Who knows...

Not sure what you mean by "wait". Should you keep looking? I would continue until all contingencies have been met with the offer.

The check is still in progress at the DOJ. The requesting agency has not received the results yet. The requesting agency has also told me that it NEVER takes this long, even if there's a criminal record found. It also can't be an issue with the prints themselves since they told me the DOJ notifies them right away if new, better prints are needed. It's not for a government position.

Does the hiring agency have a contact they can bump to see what is going on?

Does this job require a TSA Security Screening? (It's a simple finger-print thing.)

Hardest thing, is locating an actual TSA office, and the $100 for the process...

Anyway, good luck to you.
