Nothing more than utter curiosity, but are you having success getting people hired, Ron? As pointed out, BP got slammed to applicants once the major networks reported they were hiring...

i have done work on the athos1 oil spill in 2005 in pennsylvania and rescue /clean up during hurricane katrina , why is it that bp. is not letting men like me who have hazmat experience come and help with the clean up, but they rather hire unskilled people to do the jobs that we're trained to do? what would have happened if during hurricane katrina the govner of la. would have said we are going to only hire new orleans residents instead of bring in quaified technicians to work/rescue? answer many lives that were saved would have been lost. thus the environment will not get properly clean with this resoning by bp. and fl./la./ala. state goverment.

He definitely is getting paid more then this offer was for then as they were only offering 13 an hour. He would have to be getting paid somewhere in the range of 20 to 25 an hour to be making 300 a day. And once again people READ THE THREAD. The original poster is not associated with giving out the jobs. There is a link to the place you apply!
