IMO, posting on this THREAD is best left to those who think that it's cute to mock orthodox Jewish belief and practice.
This is not a Orthodox Jewish thread. This is a thread on how we individually enjoy Shabbat, the day of rest. Following the Torah just says to treat it as a day of rest and not to do work. Just because a bunch of so called scholars came together and added an entire list of other things we cannot do and then wrote them down in the Talmud as their opinions does not make it an extension of the Torah. The Israeli born Haredi in Israel follow it more strictly and without the loopholes the Ultra Orthodox gave themselves outside of Israel. Read the entire thread, it's the views of two posters who mock all the other non-Orthodox Jews on how they enjoy Shabbat.
My gf and I went to the local Chasidic congregation for service this morning and then were invited over to the Rebbe's house for lunch. It was quite the experience. I guess the guy's a relatively big deal since he's a posek.

And then you came home and posted on Shabbos? Nebach.
Great response from a person, who thinks he is the posek for us, on Motzei Shabbat.
No matter the thread, you seem to now call nearly everyone a Nebach. Since the word is actually Nebakh, its time for a link to explain its usage since there is no direct translation into English. Thus we need to find its American Yiddish version which is Nebbish. So all in all you've called nearly everyone a pitifully ineffectual person. So kudos goes to the Schmendrick who states it often.
Davka posting in the thread that asks our fellow Jews to refrain from posting on Shabbos due to the chilul Hashem - that's the issue here. You guys can profane the Shabbos all you want. That's between you and your Maker. But to publicly promote your hatred of the Torah? Nebach.
Funny how we all honored this request for two years until our two esteemed Pruz devotees arrived late last year.
I believe it remains a good idea for all Jewish posters in this forum, no matter their level of observance, to refrain from posting on Shabbos. That would be from Friday at sundown until Saturday at "three stars," or better yet nightfall according to Rabbeinu Tam. No less than 25 hours a week this forum should be without Jews posting.
You posted this on 5-5-2013 after the thread was dead for six months. Thus others were posting in this forum in order for you to make this comment. But if you want to blame me for everything, go for it.
