Either way, a tablespoon of horseradish will resolve it pretty quickly.

Keep in mind that we eat it as relish so not to insult the hostess/cook. Look at this way if one adds salt/pepper that makes a statement that the food lacked flavor. If someone drinks too much of as liquid then it had too much flavor or really sucked. Thus it exists on the table to burn one's taste buds and enjoy the meal without gagging. Also fwiw red is actually the watered down version.


And before you ask, yes I'm back in the US.
