I remember Modays & Thursdays being special, when I was growing up in an orthodox community. Chabad explains it well..

Interesting! So my Monday "Torah" class with Chabad wasn't just chosen for that day of the week arbitrarily. Thanks!

Hmm, you may be making a connection that isn’t fully there. The requirement is to hear the weekly parsha Torah reading no more than every three days. Not sure learning a Torah subject is the same thing. But it’s a good good thing, nonetheless.
