Those two, while very talented, were not the people uppermost in my mind. I'm talking about brilliant Jewish composers and cantors of the 19th century and earlier who didn't receive the recognition that those outside the sphere of Judaism received (and who didn't care about the recognition, either). Clearly, their works were not composed for full orchestras, but their vocal music was genius, nonetheless.
You may see some names mentioned in your siddur, depending on what siddur your congregation uses. Again, ask your friendly neighborhood rabbi.
