My fiance and I are trying to look for a loft in Kansas City, but we have to choose a place to live without seeing it first (relocating from Michigan). I've seen really bad reviews of some of the loft buildings. Can anyone recommend buildings or warn us against others? We are only looking at market-rate housing, not income-restricted housing. Thanks!

Sounds like you're wanting to rent. Some condo buildings have owners that are renting out units they own. Is something to also check into.
