Anybody know anything about this?

La Plaza Argentine has not yet been formally proposed and I am unable to find any info via Google except the developer's website as well as a scattering of various commercial real estate websites.

Check it out:

The Save-A-Lot grocery store has already been proposed and I believe is currently being built. The Dollar General is newly existing. La Plaza Argentine appears to be a separate development altogether and just to the west. The location is 18th St Expressway and Metropolitan Ave. If La Plaza Argentine is going to be built, this is HUGE for Argentine and inner KCK in general. As it is, Argentine is so devoid it lacks even a McDonald's. A Walmart Neighborhood Market is a huge deal for an area like Argentine.

For those who don't know, Argentine is a formerly independent small town that consolodated with the city of Kansas City, KS in 1910. Argentine is complete with its own Main St (Strong Ave), which once had a Sears store.

Between the new library, Save-A-Lot being constructed, and hopefully Walmart Neighborhood Market, Argentine appears to be on the right track.
