Dont know if you still need a answer, but my answer to your question is yes, 64132 is a bad area. Not as in you should never go there nor live there, but if you are looking at staying there or moving there you may want to check out your other options first.

Yes, It is bad for the most part. I guess it depends on what you are used to though. It is not the worst in KC for sure but I wouldn't live there.

i agree with the other posts. 64132 is not a great area. if you're considering that part of town for specific reasons, and need to stay down that way, you might consider heading a bit farther east and north into Raytown - albeit it isn't what it used to be either.
