If you are traveling from Topeka to Colorado Springs (as you stated in your other post) then Wichita is WAY out of your way. Consult a map.

I agree. Personally, I think Topeka is your best bet, for that reason alone. Although, I do like Wichita, and there would be much more to do there than Topeka, Colorado Springs is a straight shot across I-70, then Hwy 40 from Oakley, on west. It would make little sense to veer south to stay the night in Wichita, then backtrack to the north.
