I've been to that one as well. I went to college in McPherson and had a friend who went to Bethany, not a school I would really recommend, but Lindsborg is a neat town and the gallery there is surprisingly good. They have advertisements buying/selling his artwork on I-70. Is that gallery in Lindsborg affiliated with the one in California? It's been about 7 years since I was there.

Sadly Bethany isn't what it used to be. We used to borrow some of their school instruments around a decade ago because they had some top of the line equipment that wasn't getting used. Saddly most of it has now fallen into such a state of disrepair or has literally rotted that it's all unusable and unrepairable even if the school's music program does have a comeback.

I remember a lot of the buildings were in disrepair, but I could see the campus itself was probably beautiful at one time. The students just treat the school like a giant party. My friend was there for an art degree, after a year she transferred to a school out in California that was a whole lot better. Again, this was about 7 years ago when I was in college, so maybe it has improved since then.

Lindsborg is quite a ways from being in the Flint Hills, though it's certainly within a comfortable drive.

Bethany probably last thrived when the other small private schools were from the 60's though the early 80's... Southwestern in Winfield has degraded pretty far too and St. Mary's of the Plains and Marymount had to close. I don't know anything bout Bethel or Barclay in Haviland. I know Tabor has a high faculty and student turnover rate.
