Default Kansas is a BIG state

I used to live there and drove across the entire Central Part of the State and down to Wichita on a regular basis, though I lived in Johnson County.

Where are you planning on using this phone? Traveling?

Kansas is a really big state, and unless you live in Rhode Island, I doubt you will find a carrier that works everywhere and is the "best" in the state...if you tell us where you plan on using that it would be much more helpful!

My provider is Alltel; I haven't travelled to the extreme northwestern part of the state, but I get reception everywhere else.

That part of Kansas is one that I've been to pretty frequently between several family members that went to K-State and a few others that were at Ft. Riley. But Alltel seemed to be the provider that worked the best, and most people had in my experience. Reception was always great in the area, on into the rural parts.
