Weird question but in my city we have in my opinion great tasting tap water. It has no chlorine smell/taste to it (as many cites do) and its a soft water.
Whats the tap water like in Kilauea?

Wrong Kīlauea.

The OP is most likely referring to the Kīlauea area on the island of Kaua'i. The water there is pretty good; however, it is chlorinated. Here's a link to a "Water Quality Report" on the tap water at Kīlauea...

I find it very wet and a touch on the liquid side. JMHO.

Thank you Jonah K
My home city's water is sand filtered underground well water that's not subject to any surface water contamination. I know its one thing that I'm going to miss.

Wherever I live I always use an on-tap water filter. It makes the Kihei water taste much better and removes a lot of toxins. Just because water is filtered by the ground doesn't mean it's clean and safe, and even if it is clean and safe one day (when you get an analysis done) doesn't mean it will be the next.

Better safe than sorry!
