It's been fun reading your posts
We moved to the Big Island almost exactly five years ago, and I can still remember my excitement as we passed some of the same milestones. I took pictures of the container as it was being driven away down the street -- next stop Hawaii! And then getting on the plane knowing that I didn't have to turn around and leave in two weeks

That's a fast load in for house movers, but I'm guessing it was already in boxes?

Yes, we had everything in boxes in stacks by the door, the very few pieces of furniture were broken down and bubble wrapped and the television was mummified in bubble wrap. All they really had to do was walk in and put it in the truck. We packed a few extra boxes than what was on the original work order but we also didn't pack the large refrigerator, 2 couches, and 2 rocking chairs that I had on the quote so the dispatcher was saying that might even out, I will find out Monday. I have to admit that they sort of have you by the cajones, but it's all good.
We have a place for a month already secured and I met a super nice person on here that we are looking forward to working with in finding our home.

We moved to the Big Island almost exactly five years ago, and I can still remember my excitement as we passed some of the same milestones. I took pictures of the container as it was being driven away down the street -- next stop Hawaii! And then getting on the plane knowing that I didn't have to turn around and leave in two weeks
