Hello,

I am sorry to have to request this help, but I am stuck and really need ANY suggestions you can offer!

What I have: standard donkeys (spotted and very well handled, one foal born 1 month ago), horses (not what most folks are interested in: small appaloosas, most are not saddle broke but all are well handled), and some canaries (yes, birds too).

I am looking at moving and can't keep my accumulation <sigh>. My family and I have loved them but really need to find good homes for them. I have given several away but am getting to the ones that we would really prefer selling or getting offers for.

Could you give me some suggestions on where to post them? I have tried Craigslist but NO ONE has responded at all unless I was offering them for free.

BTW: I am south of Lexington.

Thank you!

KW

For your birds, see if your local veterinarians will allow you to put a notice on their office bulletin boards. You might also see if there are local or nearby groups for canary, donkey or appalaloosa owners. Check with the Kentucky Horse Park, too - they might have connections. In addition, there are many vets in the Bluegrass area whose practice is limited to the equine -perhaps some of them might help you find good homes for your animals.

Good luck.
