We have lived in Murray since being relocated here last summer and plan to stay. Trouble is, we're looking to upgrade our residence to a 4-BR house and cannot find much in the way of rentals and/or leases. The 3-BR house we got into somewhat blindly is well enough for our family now, but as it grows we'll need that extra bedroom. Besides that, there's a mold issue that the landlord doesn't seem to care about and it's starting to affect the kids' health.

So the question: aside from the standard craigslist, vci, and the likes of realtor.com, where do you go to find property available to rent? Do you know of anything coming available this summer? I've looked consistently and continuously run into affiliate marketers promising results if I just sign up for one service or another (for which they get paid, if you didn't know that) only to find out there's nothing available in the area, or Nigerian scammers trying to rent houses that aren't theirs.

I'm trying to check with my son. He's going to Murray and just rented a house with some buddies who, like him, were tired of the dorms. I'll find out where he got his information. You will definitely find more to rent after graduation at MSU.
UPDATE: He just called back and said for either a dollar or two, you can get a list of places to rent from the Chamber of Commerce. That's where they found their house.
Good luck!
