I hate to say this but I think the gender gap is a real thing.

Yesterday, Dems here held a pro Beshear rally with guest speakers in front of the old courthouse. Surprisingly, it was a pretty good turnout. The Beshear appointed Judge Executive was there and he was one of the few males present. I'd say about 80 percent of those attending were women.

When Cameron came to town a few weeks ago, I didn't notice anything like that with his audience.

They are absolute "fan girls" and "groupies," only middle-aged ones. It's embarrassing!

As for teachers - again most of whom are women - following Bevins' remark about them being "ignorant" of certain things (which isn't synonymous with calling them stupid, but they were too dumb to discern the difference and got insulted), Beshear saw and seized the opportunity and has been shamelessly courting them ever since. They've done VERY well under him, especially compared to still-neglected state employees and retirees, and they will remain loyal to him. Cameron, however fair he may be, can't hope to compete with that preferential treatment and movie-star charisma.

Barf!

Yes, Barf indeed, but sad as well, shows exactly how little they know....he's a dem so I'll vote for him...

They never learn, it's not about party, but politicians have made it so....as well as colleges.

It actually IS about the party - the two parties stand for very distinct and different things - but in this case they'll be voting for the man/personality because he's so "cute" and "nice."

Sorry but I don't agree...well, wait a minute, maybe I should rethink that, it shouldn't be about party....is a better way of putting it....people vote for their party regardless of the issues at hand, they are uninformed and will only vote for their party, regardless....you get a rep

It should be about the ISSUES, and no one should automatically vote one party or the other without examining them, but at this point the two are so polarized and diametrically opposed that you can reliably vote for one or the other to have your worldview represented. In this case, however, women find him so irresistible that they don't seem to care about the issues.

He will no doubt run for president eventually, and then God help us!

Joe Biden is Bankrolling Beshear’s Campaign
Frankfort, Ky. (September 25, 2023) – After months of trying to hide his support for Joe Biden, Andy Beshear’s campaign is now bankrolled by him.

“Joe Biden is Andy’s biggest donor because Andy Beshear fully supports Biden and his policies,” RPK spokesman Sean Southard said. “Bidenomics is destroying working families and a vote for Beshear is a vote to endorse Bidenomics. Beshear and Biden are two peas in a pod: they pretend to be moderates in public, but behind closed doors they are radical, liberal Democrats. Both Biden and Beshear must go. We have a chance to get the ball rolling on Biden’s ouster by voting against Andy Beshear this fall.”

The latest Federal Election Commission report filed by the Kentucky Democrat Party (KDP) shows it has been raising money with Biden Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Biden for President. The KDP has transferred hundreds of thousands of dollars to Andy Beshear’s campaign.

We call that around here, "Cutting your nose off to spite your face". For those that don't understand that phrase, maybe this will help.

have you seen Andy's commerical about Cameron, and how they do all the talking for Cameron, stating he said this or that, and yet, not one time is Cameron speaking in that commercial...they are literally putting words in his mouth...
