Good idea!!! I will first start by stating the obvious; This state is in the crapper. We used to be along the lines of Tennessee and BETTER than Alabama, but we have been left behind. Their industry and probably tourism has left us in the dust.

I voted for Stevie because I really believed he was going to make some real changes. In reality, I smell a one-term governor on our hands, barring a miracle.

If I could go back to work for the state, I want a job in tourism. I think there is so much to see in this state. I think before people travel to other places for a summer vacation they should check out their own state first. Well, maybe not first, but make sure you see what there is to see in Kentucky. About 5 years ago my wife and I took my two sons and her granddaughter to Louisville for a few days (Ky. Kingdom!), did a lot of sightseeing around Bardstown, Hodgensville and worked our way down to Cave City, Then Bowling Green to the Corvette Museum and home. It doesn't matter what part of the state everybody says is "the best". It's a good state from one end to the other!
I'll step down off the "get tourism going" soap box now! lol

I love Bardstown, that's such a great town.
