Home Schooling in Kentucky (http://www.education.ky.gov/KDE/About+Schools+and+Districts/Home+Schooling+in+Kentucky/ - broken link)

Which county and why home schooling? I agree there are many good reasons to home school just would like to know your thoughts.
Hopkins Co. As you said, there's many reasons, but the main one is that it seems to me that during the school year the school has more say in how I raise my children than I do. I don't appreciate the schools imposing their morals and values ( or lack of) on my children and undermining everthing I instill in them at home.

Thanks for the link.

Kentucky is one of the best states for homeschooling. The laws are very clear, and very favorable to homeschoolers.

As for support groups - I am not sure about the ones in Western Kentucky (I lived in Central Kentucky). I know parts of W. Ky., so if you happen to be near someone I know, I might be able to put you in touch.

Please feel free to send me a direct message. I homeschooled my children in Kentucky for 10 years.
Thank you for your kind offer. As I get into this I'm sure I'll have many questions. I'll try not to drive you crazy!

If you know of any homeschoolers in the Hopkins Co. area that you could put me in touch with, I'd greatly appreciate it.
