I was rear ended back in 2001. I have suffered from chronic pain since then. It is getting so bad that I am even considering signing up on SSDI. I dont want to, but if I have to I will. I dont get enough medication to help me. What doctor should I go to that will help me and not judge me? Dont say chriopractor, Ive been that route, it only helps for that night, and I dont have insurance to afford it anyway. Im about 2 hours from Lexington, so the Richmond, Lexington, London, Berea area? Any and all input appreciated. Thanks
First place you might wish to go is to your auto insurance carrier or possibly an attorney. If the link back to the accident can be found, it is possible that you do have enough insurance to not only repair the back, but also to compensate you for the pain. In Kentucky, auto insurance is an occurance based policy. This means that no matter what the current status of the policy, if it was in effect at the time of the accident, it still will provide coverage today with many assumptions that only the insurance adjusters and/or lawyers can help you with.
