Hello,
What can anyone tell me about this neighborhood in Paducah? East of Bob Noble Park, north of Park, south of N 13th st. Basically between the park and Oak Grove Cemetery.

Is it a "bad" neighborhood in terms of and crime, poorly kept property etc? I don't have school aged children so I'm not concerned with schools and such. Just looking for a decent neighborhood that's not to spendy.

Thanks,
JW

I wouldn't live anywhere in Paducah below 30th. That is my opinion. The area in which you are talking about, not the best of neighborhoods.

Older housing stock. Mostly smaller frame houses. Some well maintained, some in disrepair. Integrated neighborhood, with probably more Black residents than White. I would say the income level ranges from poverty level up to about $30K. Homes are probably worth anywhere from $20K to $60K, depending on condition.

All true.

And east of 30th Street is not recommended if you value safety.
