Around Exit 17 on I-26 near the Cracker Barrel / Wendy's exit in Johnson City I almost always lose cell phone signal when driving through there. Does anyone else experience this?

Not me, but I do lose coverage every single time just after crossing the border coming into TN from NC on I-26. I usually have good luck with Verizon coverage, even with my iphone.

I lose Verizon coverage at the Tennessee-Virginia state line. And this has occurred at other state boundaries I have crossed.

I have noticed it there as well Beretta! And also just before the Rock Springs Rd exit on the same Rd. Other than those two small spots and one spot in my building, I get coverage pretty much every where else I go though.

I've had many cell phone providers through the years and ALL of them will drop a call around that exit. T-Mobile/Verizon/AT&T all drop there, not sure about Sprint but I think they might drop around there as well.
