Chadwick's Churn, a gourmet ice cream stand, just opened this week in the little shack that was the former home of M&M Barbecue on Middlebrook Pike. The wife and I went there after dinner. Excellent homemade ice cream!

Is this the same one run by the folks that runs/ran the one in Blount county (Friendsville)?

I'm going to check them out. I hate chains, period, and there is nothing like homemade. In fact, I love making my own but I don't always have the time. Anyway, another family business! Yahoo!

Cool. Just told a friend about it, and said she would stop by as she lives nearby. I am not much of a dairy eater/drinker, but I should try that place when I am in K-town next month.

It's about 100 yards west of the intersection of Vanosdale Road and Middlebrook Pike. Hope that helps!
