Be sure to go at night. I don't think they are open for lunch yet. Brazeiros :: Knoxville's brazillian steakhouse - authentic churrascaria!

Hmmmm. Yet, their website says lunch doesn't start until October 5. More on Saturdays and Sundays? Interesting.

Glad you mentioned that, because I went back and looked at the doc they sent (it opens in Google docs, so I can't cut and paste. It lacks some info.

It does have higher prices for weekend lunches. But does not provide weekday dinner prices, only that Sat. and Sun. dinners are $29.50, w/ dinner salad bar $19.50.

It looks like the promotional prices they are referring to is in ref to $18.50 for weekday lunches. (Weekend lunch is $24.50.)

Ate there, great food and service. My only complaint is the meats are saltier than I had another Brazilian restaurant chain, and too salty for me. The waiter said the owner opened up various restaurants in the U.S., but this was the first Brazeiros.

Uh-oh. I hate salty food. I wonder if you can ask that they not put salt on the meat?

Default Is the Brazilian Restaurant Open Yet?

Just wondering if there are any updates as to the date and what the prices/food may be like if it is open.

I've eaten at several, but excited to have one closer to me.

We went there Friday night. It was very good.

The salad bar is excellent; perfectly steamed asparagus, hearts of palm, fresh moz, apple salad and on and on.

Meats were good. Some hit, some miss but all and all, very good. They keep coming around with different meats and at one point the manager asked if I would like something in particular. I asked for chicken and tenderloin and in short order I had both, bacon-wrapped. I found everything to be seasoned perfectly.

They also serve caramelized bananas, garlic potatoes, crispy polenta and cheese bread. It comes with the meal and is served family-style. The cheese bread tasted more like mini-popovers but I loved them. Polenta was good, bananas were okay, didn't try the potatoes but I think my husband liked them.

It's $33 a person. They charged our daughter full price, but have found on the internet where under 12 is half-price. She looks at least 14 now, though, and probably ate the most I have ever seen at one sitting so I'm not going to haggle. Bill with two cokes and one pom martini was just under $125.

We wanted dessert but everyone was too full. Usually we'll get it to go but we didn't even want to attempt that.

Service was fabulous with all staff helping every table. They must split the tips.

We made reservations and I highly recommend that you do so. We had stopped by a month ago and there was a one hour wait so we left and went to a sub-par Japanese steak place. Of course it is nearly impossible to get in anywhere on a Friday night in KnoxVegas without reservations.

Loved it!
