Do you happen to know if Travelers Insurance covers autos in Knoxville? If so, is there a claims office in the area? Thank you so much!

I'm sure there is. One of their main calling centers is in the area.

You'll be happy to know that Travelers is on the 'Good Faith Insurers' list. #40, in fact (though, down a bit from last year).

That is good to know! A family member that will be moving to Knoxville as well, works in auto insurance claims, so he is trying to get an idea of which companies have claims offices in the area. He would be interested in Travelers if they are located there.

I much prefer Farm Bureau when it's available in the state I live in (EXCEPT where they merged across several southern states, including Texas and Louisiana). They usually have great rates, ALWAYS have local agents and typically offer some nice package deals. Plus, they tend to be in the top 100 on the good faith list, too. Travelers is a great company, but they tend to be a bit pricier than I like.

My friend is a customer service rep for Traveler's so she gets a discount, but she still doesn't use them because she can find cheaper elsewhere, even after getting a percentage off. If that says anything about their price.

Their auto policies aren't too overpriced (though I *can* find cheaper), it's their home owner's policies that I don't like the price of, personally.

I use State Farm myself. However we have heard that Travelers gives employees great benefits, so he is wondering if they have a claims office in Knoxville. Thank you for the info!
