The temps have to be 28 degrees or lower for them to make snow. So, it not until the temps are getting low, and staying low all day that the snow will build up enough to ski on.

While its cold right now, its going to be in the 70's at the end of the week. Their web site will keep you up to date with snow conditions. If I was to guess, I would say maybe late November or into December, but its really up to what the weather decides to do.

We usually open around mid-December and our typical closing date is early March. We open as soon as we have made enough snow to cover most of the trails. The opening and closing dates vary depending on the weather.

Thanks. I actually added the main page the other day and now I've added this one.

Sugar Mountain has been open all week. It's not been the best of conditions other than Saturday and Sunday of this past week, but they have been open.
