I know that there is a Puelo's in Straw Plains and Cedar Bluff. However, I now noticed one on Merchant's. My husband says it's always been there. However, it is not listed on their website. Anyone know why?

I know that it has been there less than a year. But I don't know why it's not on their web site.

Hey Hik, I still think you should go and check the place out, for the good of C-D of course However, the Merchants Road location is on their website. Of course, the probably saw your post from this AM and figured they were in deep doo-doo so they rushed and put the location on this afternoon.

That particular Puleo's used to be a Rafferty's, so in a sense your husband is right. The building has always been there, but it didn't become a Puleo's until a few months ago.

Puleo's also has a location in Cookeville that's not on their web site, either. I guess their web designers are too busy eating their good food and not updating their web site.

This is the website that I looked at:

Puleo's Grille Location Map (broken link)

I guess I'll have to go there and INTERROGATE them. It will be for the good of us all!

I am thinking for all of this publicity and some of us (me) now craving a trip there that they at least owe you a free dinner Hik!

Has anyone ever had their chocolate lasagna? I haven't but keep hearing them talk about it on the radio. Is it that good?

Chocolate lasagna? Are you kidding? I have no idea what that is, but it sounds DIVINE!!!!

Puleo's has really good shrimp & grits, too. I could definitely go for some right now.

Yeah, the shrimp and grits sounds wonderful!

I took a book out of the library that only had shrimp and grits recipes. Yum!

I know one of the managers that works at Puelos on Merchant's....not sure why it wouldn't have been on their site. Next time I talk to him I'll see if I can find out the scoop. Or you can just go down there and eat and grill them.
