So we recently put in an offer on a home in this area and my kids would be attending these schools if we buy the home. We currently live in the Bluegrass/Concord area and the schools here are great but unsure about the new ones so hoping others here have some feedback experience.

Aside from the schools what do you think of the area? Family friendly? Safe? Etc.

I think it is a different vibe. There tend to be a lot of locals in Halls. Some are welcoming, some are not. I think Brickey is a very good school and Halls Middle and High School are pretty good as well.

Well we are closing on the house in just a couple of weeks and still haven't really learned much about the area. It seems very quiet.

It's very quiet. If you aren't into shopping, you will be fine. Of course you can still shop but it will be a longer drive. Congrats!
