Are the Maple sunset apartments and legacy pointe apartments in a nice area? I am looking for any thing in the Knoxville area and these were both nice and had good deals, but I am worried about the area around these apartments, since I am not from the area. I am a young professional, but just started out so trying to live as cheap and safe as I can. Any input would be appreciated.

Maple Sunset is not in the worst area of the city, by far, but it isn't great. Legacy Pointe is in a better area.

Thanks for the information. Just to clarify it seems there are two maple sunset apartments in Knoxville I am talking about one on 709 East Inskip Dr. Knoxville, TN 37912. Is that the same one you are thinking of?

Yes.

It's not horrible, by any means. I think that immediate area is probably fine but some parts of Inskip are a bit rough.

I second what hik just said. I don't mind Inskip but I think the area north of Merchants/Cedar Lane is a little nicer. Really I don't think anything north of 640 going to be dangerous or terrible, but seems to be the further north you go the better the neighborhoods get.
