Good apartments in Maryville? (Knoxville, Louisville: renting, house, college)

Okay I requested the free apartment guide from the Maryville Apt listing site and they sent me a Knoxville guide that only lists 2 complexes in all of Blount Co. My parents are trying to insist I live with them permanently (at age 40), so I'm not getting anywhere with them helping me find a place before I actually move.

Can any locals tell me what apartments are safe, well kept, not full of druggies and noisy college parties? Would prefer under $500 a month for studio-1bedroom (or larger if its under $500), washer and dryer connection would be nice, but not required, access to high speed internet & A/C required and would like it to be pet friendly though I was forced to give up my pet I would like to eventually get another one either dog or cat. Interested in Maryville, Louisville, Townsend, Wears Valley, any of those areas.

PS: Would also consider renting small house especially if it has a yard for a dog for a reasonable price. I'm just not sure those sort of places exist in the area.
