I bet more Connecticut based gun manufacturers will follow suit and Blount Co will be better for it. However, they need to be aware the liberal influence in city politics and chambers of commerce. Maryville is turning purple.

And now there will be 750 new jobs filled with likely 750 red voters to help steer away from turning purple.

Woo hoo. Good move. Hopefully they will give tours of the factory. Just more help for the local economy. This is great news. Thanks for posting.

It's quite possible that Maryville could be turning purple while the entire Blount County remains solidly RED since the city represents only about 20% to 25% of the total population of the county.

I'm not worried. Blount vote breakdown by precinct:

IIRC it's HQ and operations and some rifle assembly, not all of their actual manufacturing.

Who knows, maybe they'll move the whole ball of wax to TN as some states become more business unfriendly, particularly when it comes to firearms.

We'll see.

We should thank the leftists in the Northeast for this gift of jobs to our area. I’m glad to see smith and Wesson here.

As a NYer (gun owner) looking to escape I fully embrace good companies moving to free states. It will make it easier for me to relocate my family to a red state.

Thanks S&W keep up the good work.

TN thanks for having a good business environment and being committed to protecting the 2a.
