Knoxville looks just like how I left it a year ago! What a cozy feeling to be back. I am looking out of my temporary loft at the World Fair and enjoying every bit of it. Though I surely have a bit of work to do the next few weeks to find a more permanent place before my permanent move, hopefully if everything works out in January.

I took the ultra long route since I didn't have much with me and wanted to see more of the country. All the colors were simply amazing though the weather is rather mild here, I am still sweating, the first snow of the year fell when I left Denver a few days ago. How long have you been here already mysticfire? How are thing?

What wonderful news! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

I've been here three years, by the way. I'm from Mass., but came here via Florida.

Thanks hiknapster, I think Joe the Plumber deserves some sort of medal btw, maybe a violet heart.

Welcome home Pam and Bill. I am not from Knoxville originally, I am from the Rockies in Colorado but have spent considerable time in the Apps and Smokeys, but it will be my new home.

I'm not from Knoxville originally either. We lived in Knoxville when we first moved to Tn. Then we wandered out to Corryton and then Dandridge. We spent the summer on top of a mountain in Burnsville, NC and finally made it back home to Knoxville.
So where you from in the Rockies? In 1982, I moved out to Boulder and lived there for a time.
Pam

Sounds like quite an adventure, they say life IS a journey right. Boulder is definetly a popular spot for the young traveler, I grew up near the county line of Clear Creek/Gilpin just south of Boulder, moved around over the years with my pop who was in the military, but went back to Colorado after college and the Rockies will always be home, though if I do retire back in the Rockies, it'd probably be in Sheridan, Wyoming.
