Did anyone happen to make it over to this house yet? It's in the East Mesa and worth the drive. The owners sync the lighting with a local radio station. The effects are hypnotic.

Didn't go by the house, but DID make it to Mesilla for Xmas eve. Beautiful, as usual

More gluttonous piques to a huge waste of natural resources. I mistakenly went to Mesilla the day before Xmas and saw people lighting candles in brown paper bags with BLOWTORCHES. I'm not joking - and if you saw this too, back me up.

Absolute nonsense. All the sand filled paper bags in my neighborhood that strange men put there are still sitting along the street now, 2 days later. Why should I pick that poop up? Nobody cares.

They are called luminarias...A big tradition in New Mexico.
